« Europe, it’s us » (literally: We Are Europe) is a non-commercial, non-profit organisation, registered under Austrian law. Its members are working on a voluntary basis.

« Europe, it’s us » was founded in 2000, when a Europe-hostile environment started to grow in Austria. European integration must not be left to governments and parliamentarians, since « Europe, it’s us »  and therefore we are also responsible for policy development on our continent.

« Europe, it’s us »  endorses the goals of the European Union and considers further integration as the only way for living peacefully and democratically together in Europe.

Through information and public debate « Europe, it’s us »  wants to strengthen the European awareness of the Austrians  and to support the creation of a European identity beyond nationalism.

« L’Europe, c’est nous » (littéralement : Nous Sommes l’Europe) est un organisme d’intérêt général à but non lucratif constitué en vertu de la loi autrichienne. Ses membres sont des bénévoles.

« L’Europe, c’est nous » a été fondé en 2000, lorsqu’un sentiment anti-européen a commencé à se développer en Autriche. Il ne faut pas laisser l’intégration européenne aux gouvernements et aux députés, car « L’Europe, c’est nous » , et il est donc de notre responsabilité de participer à l’élaboration des politiques sur notre continent.

« L’Europe, c’est nous » appuie les objectifs de l’Union Européenne et estime que la poursuite de l’intégration est le seul moyen d’arriver à une cohabitation pacifique et démocratique en Europe.

Grâce à l’information et au débat public, « L’Europe, c’est nous » souhaite renforcer la conscience européenne des Autrichiens et soutenir la création d’une identité européenne à l’écart du nationalisme.
